I followed my heart
Perhaps, the greatest mistake
They say you get just one chance
Before you've thrown it away
And I fell down
Crawling hands over knees
And I fell down
Begging you to believe

It's all in my head

I followed my sight
And walked away with my life
If you could be only true
Someone else to believe what I still do
Turning back to ask why
In front of me was the sign

I wrote out the lines
Pretended that it was you
It seemed the only way
To make you do what I wanted you to do Falling down on my knees
Begging you to believe
Stop my mouth
To hear your voice
But now I'm standing
